Motorsports Career

In a nutshell, Jonathan is an aspiring sports car racing gentleman driver, however that is a bit of an oversimplification. From an early age, Jonathan had an interest in all forms of transportation, spanning planes, trains, and automobiles. The son of a self-made videographer historian, Jonathan was exposed to decades of footage (from original film to HD digital video) of locomotives, ships, and World War aircraft, including in-person excursions thereupon. Growing up with an older brother who tinkered with dirtbikes and ATVs, Jonathan quickly found himself following in his brother’s footsteps, working at the local motorcycle shop to fuel his enjoyment of trail riding and motocross with his two best friends on the weekends.  When they weren’t busy riding, they spent their time going to car shows with their parents or Jonathan’s uncle, who collected classic cars. They also enjoyed watching Jonathan’s brother dabble in drag racing (which he also naturally followed into himself), however it wasn’t until he joined another of his uncles in the paddocks to support his racing in the Porsche Club of America, that his passion for sports car racing was truly ignited.
